The baroque Church of St. Nicholas is located on Malostranská Square in Lesser Town and it’s considered to be one of the most popular baroque building in the Czech Republic. The entrance to the church is not right from the main square, where the tram stop is – it’s good to know you have to walk around the block of building if you go from the tram stop to the main entrance.

The inside of the church is full of colorful fresco which are painted by the world-known artists. The most known are the oil paintings by Karel Škréta. There are also many statues inside.  I really recommend you to visit this church, it’s really breathtaking and magnificent. During Christmas time there are Advent concerts wicker really worth to hear.

The more information about the church you can find here.
